reasons why camby might not be happy
1. He's leaving one of the top destinations to live for any player
2. He's old, tired of moving from place to place,
3. Lets be real, hes a loaner, portlands not a contender this season either, dont kid urself

I'm just as upset.

Well, maybe not quite. I'm not relocating.

But I'm upset. I don't want Outlaw moved. I desperately want/wanted Blake moved, but I think Outlaw is really an important part of this team in many ways. Stretch fours who can hit the 3 are valuable. Outlaw's D has improved and he can create his own shot in ways that Dante, Rudy, Jeff, Martell, cannot.

Blazers lose a LOT in character with this trade. While I cringed watching Blake play many times this season, he's a great locker room guy, too. And we all know Outlaw is Roy's best friend, generally regarded as one of the funniest, most likable people in the Blazers locker room.

Marcus would rather play for the Clips and live in LA than contend with the Blazers this year or (more likely) in coming years? Then we've clearly got a guy here whose priorities are, well, complex. Winning a ring may not be at the top of his list.

Outlaw has been dogged by people, unfairly, for a few years now, and it's largely been because of his high ceiling. Well, I'd say that prior to this season, which started rough for so many guys and then got held up due to injury, Outlaw has improved each season. Maybe top-3 sixth men last year.

I don't like it. It's an Xs and Ox trade that looks great on paper, sounds great for the hardwood. But, as evidenced by Camby's reaction, things aren't that simple. Don't wanna be here, Marcus? Great, because here's one guy who doesn't really want you here if the price is Outlaw.
