It's impossible for all these guys to be experts on every team, just have to know who is closer to who. Marc Stein being locked into Dallas and Hollinger being all over Atlanta/Portland, for example. That said, Sheridan does have an abnormally high opinion of Rudy, but his only public support for it has just been to comment on how talented he thinks Rudy is. Sheridan is more of an Eastern Conference guy and doesn’t have near the amount of Blazers information as Chad Ford or John Hollinger.
