But there’s this: Greg can come back knowing damn well that he can dominate in this league. He’s had a taste of it now. There’s no uncertainty about his skills or his work ethic. Anyone who says KP should have taken Durant hasn’t watched how Oden changes a game because of his presence the lane on both ends. Lots of guys can score in this league, and Durant is a special player. But I’ll take a healthy Greg on my team ANY day, and I’ll still take Greg given these injuries. He’s that dominant. He’s that much of a team player, a guy who helps create a unique atmosphere on a team.

So I think Greg can work his way back from this–as noted–with a smile on his face. Setback? Yeah, sure is. But he can cock a half grin all the while he’s rehabbing, knowing that he’s still going to have the skills to change the game every time he steps on the floor.
