true. and ya, that makes sense if indeed Stevie is being phased out.. over at BEdge i posted something i saw at the Hawks game in the RG (my first game there!): Blake looking off a wide open, and scorching hot (he had jsut scored 8 straight points) Martell to force a pass into Roy. he doesn't seem particularly creative.
i do love him tho..
interesting to see how this plays out.

Not exactly a pass Blake has ever thrown with regularity, though. I'm not sure how good he is at those lobs, either. Part of the reason it looks like Blake is being phased out of the starting lineup (speculation) because he's not going to go over-the-top to take advantage of Oden's developing ability to hold and gain position.

nice overview. the one thing i'll say though is that at the 4:37 mark of the tirhd qtr (at least i think that was it) you see Stevie B get the ball on the Right wing, GO seal his man completely off with absolutely no one behind him.. an easy, easy, EASY dunk if Blake lobs it in there, and almost without even looking, he swings it out to the point.
only one possession, and yes i was really happy with most of last night, but it's a little sample i think of how the team doesnt yet really have the mindset of looking for easy buckets in the post.
but Quick might say im nitpicking, pitpicking, NITPICKING.....
