You mentioned Bayless’ defense, which was one of my concerns…although I think that will improve with minutes played.

My real concern about Bayless was that he doesn’t seem to be able to go left. Would someone please tell him that the lane is just as wide on the other side?

That’s a good question. I’d say Pendergraph makes it regardless of what happens and Cunningham is just slightly behind him. If you think about it, we lost Channing, Ruffin, Shavlik, Sergio and LaFrentz and haven’t added anybody yet.

3rd PG? Lindsey Hunter would’ve been my pick, but he’s not on the market anymore. Not really anyone else out there I like all that much.

Do both cunningham and pendergraph make the team if millsap comes to portland?

and who do you like (or want) as 3rd PG.

Cunningham? Not sure about that. He doesn’t look like much of a banger. Uses his athleticism to get on the boards more than anything else. Pendergraph seems more likely to provide what Millsap does, but he’s not a big intimidator either. Both could be nice players and give Portland some decent minutes (Pendergraph being more likely at this moment) but they aren’t going to make Millsap or David Lee seem irrelevant — mostly because I don’t see either being a double-double off the bench waiting to happen.

Great job guys… I appreciate the work. I’m a Blazer fan in NJ (I know, lol).. Question for you guys…. I know it’s just the SL. BUT, IF the Jazz match the offer to Millsap.. Could what we see from Cunningham this summer make that irrelevant?
