I see what you’re saying but for some reason I don’t see Carroll dropping down that far in this draft. He’s got enough upside to trump a lot of the talent here.

It’s not that we aren’t high on Evans, it’s just we felt he wasn’t quite the best fit for certain teams. IMO, he’s a little too much like Foye to go to Minny and I felt like Skiles would like Holiday’s defense in Milwaukee. If Indy could steal him that would be a nice dig.

Sidenote it was a nightmare trying to think about who the Pistons would take.

I wouldn’t mind giving Taj a try but he reminds me too much of Channing. And he’s old.

It seems to me that you have missed Omri Caspi.
Not only he becomes trendy (almost all selects him at 23-28), but he also impresses at the current camps.

Very true. But really, they might be waiting around quite awhile for the next Big Ben.

Carroll very well could be there at #46 anyways.

You guys are not that high on Evans huh?

Also, in regards to Portland, Taj Gibson might be a nice pickup early in the 2nd round.

Good point. As you’ll see in our explanations (which are coming…ummm….soon) you have to assume Wallace, Varejao and Smith are all out of there. Why not take what could be the next coming of Big Ben? Might be a reach.
