Brian Grant has Parkinson’s Disease

Ric Bucher of ESPN reports that former Blazer Brian Grant has Parkinson’s Disease. He was diagnosed with “young onset” (due to age) in January and apparently is just now coming out with it because this is the first I’ve heard of it. I’m not sure what else to say, frankly I’m in a state of shock.

    B,

When I met you at your house with Jermaine, I saw the personal side of you that you demonstrated with the community and NBA – professional and caring.

    Brian,

I’m so sorry to hear you have Parkinson’s I am praying for you, and wish you the very best. I’ve been a great fan of yours since you played here in Portland, and honestly, your devotion to a young fan during that period brought tears to my eyes! I remember your many, many trips made to Sublimity to visit him when you were in Portand. You did us proud! God Bless you!

Brian, you are a fighter and will help the world by bringing attention once again to this awful disease. Through a lot of research this past 18 months 3 Dr./authors you would gleam helpful information from are:
Dr. Roy Swank, an Oregon professor
    Dr. John McDougall and
    Dr. T. Colin Campbell
their work has helped our family.
We wish you the very best, you will succeed!
