		<description>That&#039;s the million dollar question two4larue, why would any of the &#039;top&#039; guys I listed come out here for a diminished role? That&#039;s why at the end of the day I think McDyess might be the best free agent we can get. He doesn&#039;t need money, doesn&#039;t need a lot of PT and can still produce. Of course if we can convince a Bass or Lee to come out here than you do it in a heartbeat, but I think McDyess would fit in very nicely. The only problem is convincing him to get out here.</description>

		<description>Considering that the backup to Aldridge will get 10 minutes (max) per game, why would a young FA like Bass (etc) choose to come to PDX? Seems to me he&#039;d like to find a place where he can get starter&#039;s minutes

McDyess intrigues me the most. He&#039;s got playoff experience and probably won&#039;t mind playing short minutes for a team that&#039;s ready to contend. If there&#039;s an injury (or massive foul trouble) to Joel/Gre/LaMarcus, Nate could stick Antonio in there and not see a huge dropoff in production</description>
