Pryzbilla will remain starter..

A tiny bit of “news” on your Easter Sunday. For the 10 people out there who were wondering if Nate was going to push Oden back into the starting lineup, the answer is officially no. Joel Przybilla will be starting for the rest of the regular season and post-season. And yes I did say it that way because I like typing post-season, it’s been a few years give me a break. Jason Quick got the “scoop” in his latest Behind the Blazers Locker Room piece. Nate’s official words:

“The lineup is working, so I don’t see changing that,”

So…uhh….there you have it! Although I think by now it was just assumed he was going to be coming off the bench. I hadn’t really thought about it for a while and would have had a mini uproar if Oden took the starting spot. And truthfully with the way everything is working he should keep coming off the bench. He’s shown a certain comfort zone over the past week or so…no need to mess that up. Plus, Big Joel has had an absolutely fantastic season and deserves it.

And as usual Quick’s piece is a must-read. Drug test drama stories are always great but the fact that they just have guys follow you in the NBA is hilarious. In college you literally have an hour to pee and if you can’t pee in that span of time they call it a failure. NBA > college, sorry Asher Roth. Also, Oden did his monitor dirty.
